Pink and Black Mandalas
For some reason, when thinking of color combinations, Avril Lavigne popped into my head when she released her “The Best Damn Thing” album.
She was wearing blond hair with pink streaks and the whole thing screamed pink goth, and I loved it!
So, I thought, this is the perfect color combination for a mani!
And these were born:
Rock on Avril!
#NailFail
I had these chrome powders that I was trying to use as mermaid powders but it wasn’t strong enough to seep through the white, and the colors are barely noticeable.
So when I stamped over the powder, the color was barely visible, and deemed this a Nail Fail.
Ying yang flakies
I got these flakies online and wanted to try them out over two different colors, black and white while having the opposite color stamp over them and I really like it!
Yellow Flowers
Yeah, I didn’t have a more creative title for this one haha.
Netflix – The Confession Tapes
Have you ever watched that show?
It’s about people who have been suspects in a case and have wrongfully admitted guilt even when all the evidence points to them not being really guilty.
And these people have admitted guilt to these crimes only because they have been interrogated for so long, or they have been tricked into actually admitting guilt.
Very similar to “Making a murderer”.
Anywho, these are inspired on that particular show, and if you’re interested, you should watch it!
A subtle circuit
For this one, I was going for a very subtle circuit over white so that it wasn’t visible unless you really looked close enough to see the detail.
I think I succeeded.
Essie – Leggy Legend
Witch on a broom
I have no idea why some neon colors are synonymous with #halloween 🎃👻 But this is one of those examples.
You know if you see neon orange or neon green, it’s halloween! (Ok, that rhyme was not done on purpose lol) These are a couple of witches and black cats 🐱 because of reasons.
Follow me on instagram to see the video of how I did these!
Flannel Nails!
I don’t know about you, but I definitely had a cold labor day weekend.
And I was so glad that it was! Finally my summer rants are over!
There is something about riding a NYC Subway full of sweaty people
at 8 am in the morning and getting to work like you ran a 20K marathon
that just doesn’t appeal to me.
Also, Pumpkin Spice Latte’s are back and that’s the beginning of the
holiday season!
So, to honor the colder weather, FLANNEL NAILS!
I used the Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate BP-L006, and Twinkled T’s amazing
white stamping polish that works charms I tell ya!
