The purest form of holo comes in powder.

I had been avoiding this trend for the simple fact that I don’t like glitter herpes.

And I knew the moment I opened that jar, all the powder would fly off into my face.

But, I decided to give it a try and actually buy one small jar.

I waited a long time because it came all the way from China and didn’t have prime,

and by the time it got to me, so many options had popped up on Amazon WITH prime.

Back to the story. I opened that thing and lucky for me, it wasn’t as bad. I proceeded to apply it to a gel based nail polish (I used Sally Hansen)

and all of a sudden I saw the light, and everything was holy.

So worth it.

Happy Birthday David Bowie!

I was at work a year ago when I found of David Bowie’s passing and his name rung a bell but I didn’t know I liked so much of his music without knowing it was him. After further research, I realized who he was and he was so omnipresent in my life that I started following his work. Today I celebrate the Starman’s 70th Birthday with Aladdin Sane, Blackstar, Diamond Dogs cover logo, Earthling coat and Pierrot, the sad clown from Ashes To Ashes and the cover of ScaryMonsters.  I’ll meet you someday on Mars. 😊

Happy Birthday Ziggy Stardust 👨🏻‍🎤 I’m a ★.

Holo Drag Marble

This is the kind of nail art you do when you don’t have time or you just can’t even … XD

It’s called a #dragMarble, when you drag the polish around while it’s still wet.

The polishes I’m using are “Back to Black” by @sally_hansen and the @superchiclacquer holo colors that are absolutely gorgeous!

Happy New Year’s 2017!

Since I had a lot of time to think this through, I was able to do a nail art design, and came up with this:

(Yes, that on my thumb is the One World Trade Center and my ring finger is the Empire State Building)

but then, I didn’t quite like it, so I made this, and I like it so much more! :

It’s the street sign, NYC logo, Statue of Liberty, Ball drop from Times Square and the new Year!
