Double Color

Gradient Stamping is a thing
I was trying to test out this peel off base coat created by OPI, but failed miserably at trying to peel it off cause I didn’t know how to do it. Fortunately, I have found a better peel off base coat and I have learned how to do it.
Gradient stamping is very satisfying, more than I could have ever imagined!

Dragon Ball Nails (Behind the scenes)
Well, for people who don’t know, making these complicated nail arts takes time and often, it’s a mess. For these nails, I didn’t want to do them over my natural nails because it would take a long time and I needed both nails to work efficiently, so I decided to take some UHU Adhesive Reusable Putty:

And an empty plastic container and adhere the fake nails to it so I could work easily. This gave me the freedom to move around, gather supplies and work to my ❤️’s content.
Working on fake nails also gave me the liberty to let it dry by itself instead of worrying I’d ruin all the work I’d done while the nails were drying, and a tiny secret here: the amount of layers on these nails is a lot.

Then, I painted the nails with the base color:

After doing all the white nails, I realized some of the nails didn’t have a white base but rather a skin tone for the characters, so I repainted those and while they dried, I stamped on 2 tiny purple stars on the orange nail.

THERE!!! ONE NAIL!!! DONE!!!
4 more to go…
When I was trying to work on my first actual nail art, Cell, I was trying to draw on a silhouette so I could paint it later. BIG MISTAKE. You can see the semi-covered mistake here:

But! We don’t shy away from mistakes and decided to cover up the entire thing so I could pretend I didn’t make any mistakes. AAAAAND IT WORKED. (Don’t worry about the bumpiness, any top coat fixes that and smoothes out any mistakes 😉 )

The rest of the nails were surprisingly easier to make, but they did take a while to dry.

Once everything was done, it was just a matter of waiting for them to try and placing them over my own nails to take the picture!

My favorite candy
When I was little and we were at the supermarket, I’d always ask my mom to get this candy for me. It’s resonated so much that even to this day I ask for it whenever I go back home. The fact that the company that made it had my name as well made it so much tastier and better.

I missed so many!
Oh dear…
When I moved all the images from Facebook to this page, I was hoping that those would be all, but I hadn’t thought of all the pictures of designs I have taken that never made it to my Facebook page and even some of the fails.

I’ve rummaged through my older backup folders and I found the photos and some videos that I never turned into actual edited videos for Facebook or Youtube.

So I’ll be working on those posts later today or tomorrow.
See ??? This is what happens when you take too long to put all your work in one place instead of having it scattered around! So, let this be a lesson! haha

My first stamping adventure
This is me trying out stamping for the first time!

Black Holo Witch (H)
I don’t think I can love this polish any more than I already do, it looks so stunning under bright lights and the tiny flitters give out the holo glitter we so much enjoy.
This nail polish is peak holosexuality!!
Just remember to add a quick dry top coat and then a regular top coat over that to smooth out the surface of the nails.

Green Shimmer
I bought these absolutely cute tiny bottles of OPI nail polish from Amazon. They are the “OPI New Orleans Jambalayettes Mini’s” and the size is absolutely adorable. I can’t believe I hadn’t seen a tiny bottle like this before.
The shades are a little sheer, but a double coat makes it opaque, so that’s good enough for me. The green looked a little boring, so I decided to use this Sally Hansen Big Shimmer to top it off and it makes it look so much better.
