I had been meaning to do this for such a long time since it’s an old design that’s been floating around the internet. Holo polishes definitely make this stand out and it looks more realistic!

I’ve always liked to accept nail art challenges on Facebook and this was no different. A friend of mine asked me if I would replicate some Dragon Ball nails and I bravely accepted the challenge!
3 hours and many youtube videos in background later, this came out and I’m pretty proud of what it looks like!

So, have you ever seen scissors that cut zig zags? The ones used for cutting fabric?

Well, they can be used to cut tape and use it on your nails! And what a better way to use them than to put that holo to good use!

This is one of Color Club’s recent colors, and they are the “Oil Slick” Collection. You can buy them on Amazon here.

Walking around NYC, I found this small shop in the financial district where I found this Black Holo Glitter. It’s not like Simply Nailogical’s collection but for literally $1, this is not bad at all! I like it!!! (Don’t even recognize the brand – RK by Kiss)

This is my take on the very elegant french tip using holos and striping tape. TBH, all you need to do is be very patient so you can achieve the correct distances. To make the actual white tip, I used normal tape and over that I placed the striping tape so I could create the design.
Using a white base, waiting for it to dry, then applying a quick dry top coat, I was able to place the tape and cover the nail with Color Club holos and the result was very shiny and holographic!

Honestly! WHAT IS IN THIS NAIL POLISH THAT STINKS SO MUCH! Don’t get me wrong, the result is absolutely gorgeous but who knows what they used to make this polish that makes it stink so much!
This is the Pop-arazzi brand and from what I’ve read on Amazon reviews, this nail polish also stains the nails… Yikes!

I have successfully added all the images from my Facebook page into my new blog. Now, I can focus on the new things and add more Youtube videos, more swatches and all of the new designs I’ll be working on.
Also, I’ll be doing a post on my collection of nail polish and supplies, so you can see what I work with.

Cheers!
